It was the wise counsel of his friend, Poovaragavan Iyengar, that sparked the idea of crafting dairy products. Thiru Ramanujam meticulously learned the art of making fresh curd, creamy butter, and golden ghee, laying the foundation for what would become a beloved brand.

His son, R. Gunasekaran Santhanam, inherited this dedication. In 1990, he expanded the dream, transforming it into Ramans Coffee & Dairy and quadrupling the space to 250 sq ft. This was a time of immense popularity for Ramans. Their ghee, a testament to its authentic quality, even found its way into the suitcases of travelers heading to Singapore, Malaysia, and Dubai, carried by those who simply couldn't leave its pure taste behind. Ramans' dairy products continued to earn the trust and appreciation of the people of Mannargudi and its surrounding areas.

The torch of tradition and innovation passed to the next generation in 2015. Thiru Gunasekaran's son, Ramkumar, alongside his siblings, spearheaded a significant renovation. They expanded the facility to a spacious 1250 sq ft, embracing new technology while staying true to their roots. This modernization allowed Ramans to further refine their dairy products, with their exquisite ghee finding a strong market in Singapore and Dubai.

But their journey of excellence didn't stop there. In 2020, after meticulous research and a deep dive into the nuances of curd production, Ramans Cow Milk Curd was introduced to the market. Its rich texture and authentic flavor quickly won the hearts of the people, becoming a household favorite in a remarkably short time.

This unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction culminated in a monumental step in 2025. Ramans proudly established a state-of-the-art 7000 sq ft dairy production facility.
